Cairo – “A two-day conference between Europe and Egypt was held two months ago that elevated their strategic partnership to the highest level, both in the economic and social spheres, focusing on green hydrogen and renewable energy. The Egyptian government is dedicating all green hydrogen projects exclusively for export. There is no mention of green hydrogen localization for hard-to-decarbonize industries in Egypt. More than 15 million tons of green ammonia, which contains green hydrogen, will be exported to our main markets in the European Union,” said Osama Fawzy Georgy Henein, founder and Ceo of the H2lligence platform, during the CSEW, the Cairo Sustainable Energy Week underway in Cairo.
