Brussels – The European Parliament continues its internal organization process. After the formation of committees, the composition of delegations begins, which will continue tomorrow (Oct. 3). At the moment, there are three Italian MEPs elected as delegation chairs: Marco Tarquinio (PD/S&D) for the EU-Albania delegation, Giuseppina Princi (FI/EPP) for Central Asia and Brando Benifei (PD/S&D) for the EU-United States delegation.
Five Italians in the European Parliament with a vice-presidential role: Herbert Dorfmann (SVP-FI/EPP) for the EU-Latin America delegation, Carlo Fidanza (FdI/ECR) in the same Eurolat delegation, Chiara Gemma (FdI/ECR) for the EU-Albania delegation, Carolina Morace (M5S/Left) for the EU-Australia and New Zealand delegation, and Michele Picaro (FdI/ECR) for the EU-Brazil delegation.
European Parliament delegations are official groups of MEPs who maintain and deepen relations with parliaments of non-EU countries, regions and organizations.
