Rome – “Premier candidate indicated by Silvio Berlusconi? We have gone from the journalistic background to pure science fiction, I don’t know anything about that, nor do I want to participate in this game, which does not exist. Let’s rather convince those who are still undecided”. Emma Bonino, guest of Circo Massimo on Radio Capital, hosted by Massimo Giannini and Jean Paul Bellotto, strongly denies the possibility that she is the candidate that the leader of Forza Italia has in mind for the premiership.
“Evidently Berlusconi marches to his own drum”, she adds also disavowing the hypothesis that the center-right would like her as the president of the Senate in the next legislature.
With regard to her openees towards a “Gentiloni bis” inclusive government, with Forza Italia but without Lega and Cinquestelle, she said: “I have just said that we already had an inclusive government led by Letta, which was also composed of Berlusconi’s ministers. I am not hoping for this perspective, as I rather continue to campaign to win and obtain a clear result”.
