Bruxelles – The European Commission has approved under the EU Merger Regulation the acquisition of Keepmoat Regeneration Holdings Limited (KRHL) by ENGIE Services Holding UK Limited (ESHUL), both of the United Kingdom. KRHL provides integrated affordable housing development and community regeneration services in the United Kingdom. ESHUL is one of the business divisions of the ENGIE group which is active in the provision of facilities management including energy services, designing and implementing solutions. The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns, because of the limited overlaps between the companies’ activities. The transaction was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
