A day full of commitments for Letta: he is meeting van Rompuy, Barroso and Italian MEPs as well as attending an event on the Expo 2015
The Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta will be in Brussels on Wednesday. An intense day, starting with an official breakfast with Herman van Rompuy, President of the European a Council. After that, a meeting with Italian MEPs at the European Parliament.
A trasfer to the Berlaymont, headquarter of the European Commission, will follow. The Italian PM is to meet EC President Barroso, and they will meet a government delegation (Emma Bonino, Enrico Giovannini, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, Fabrizio Saccomanni, Carlo Trigilia) afterwards. Letta is also to meet the College of Commissioners.
In the afternoon Letta will be back at the European Parliament, for participating at the event “Expo Milano 2015 – Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” promoted by Roberto Maroni, President of Region Lombardy.
