Enel Green Power soars and ended the first nine months of the year with a net profit of 407 million €, up 46.4% compared to 278 million € in the same period of 2012. Even total revenues amounted to 2,053 million with an 18.5% increase compared to the first nine months of 2012: an increase of 320 million €. The results were announced by Enel GP at the end of the board meeting that has reviewed and approved the results for the last quarter and the first nine months of 2013.
As for the third quarter of the year, Enel has closed with a net profit of 138 million €, an increase of 142.1% compared to the same period of the previous year at 57 million. Revenues amounted to 592 million €, an increase of 10% compared to the third quarter of 2012.
“Today Enel can confirm once again they are a world champion of renewable energy,” said the CEO and General Manager of Enel, Fulvio Conti. “Developing projects in renewable energy with cutting-edge technologies – he emphasized – is our trademark and one of the main growth drivers of the Enel Group.” A road on which the group plans to continue: “We want to continue to invest as we already are – ensures Conti – to provide a concrete response to customer demand: energy that is secure, economical and more sustainable for the environment.”
