Parleuropa, a treasure hunt in the heart of Rome to celebrate the European Day of Languages
100 participants will be challenged Thursday in a competition that will put their knowledge to the test
There is a “language rally” in which participants will put themselves to the test in 9 different languages. The initiative is organized for the occasion of European Day of Languages by the Director General for Translations of the European Commission – Antenna of Rome in collaboration with the Rome sector of EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) with the title Parleuropa, which will take place on Thursday, September 29th. The scope of the game “Parleuropa” is to encourage learning language through entertainment because the EU wants to promote multilingualism, both inside their own institutes and in civil society, sustaining the linguistic diversity and trying to increase the number of citizens who know 2 foreign languages other than their own native language.
