Carlo Banfi, new President of Assopompe, was unanimously elected President of the European Association Europump – European Association of Pump Manufacturers – in time for the Members Assembly held today.
resents 18 National Associations for a total of 450 companies and 100,000 employees. Carlo Banfi, already VP of Europump and as of a few days ago President of Assopompe, has worked in the vacuum and liquid centrifugal pump manufacturing industry for over 25 years, covering various managerial roles in important international groups such as Flowserve Worthington, Rutschi and Aturia. Today he is Director General of Sterling Fluid Systems (Italy) SpA, an Italian subsidiary of the German group Sterling SIHI.
